As an Front Office Supervisor, your job description may include, but not limited to the following tasks:

· Supervises Front Desk and Concierge operations and ensures that Hotel staff adhere to set service standards.

  1. The Front Office Supervisor shall monitor room status and availability while coordinating updates with Housekeeping.

  2. Shall conduct daily briefings and meetings as necessary, concentrating on operations and administrative matters.

  3. Review room allocation for the day.

  4. Assist the Front Office Associates with check-in and check-out procedures.

  5. Ensures that the entire front desk and concierge areas are kept clean and in order.

  6. Ensure blockings for arrival rooms.

  7. Assist in handling VIP arrivals.

  8. Responsible in ensuring reservation traces are resolved.

  9. Responsible for checking the open balance report daily.

  10. Coordinates with the Credit Manager with regard to accounts with credit balances.

  11. Monitor, conduct follow-up and prepare report on PM and PX accounts, and up-sell reports.

  12. The Front Office Supervisor shall attend meeting set by the Assistant Front Office Manager regarding recent events/projects, plans and ensures that these are carried out.

  13. Responsible in preparing LSG reports for the following departments/sections: Sales and Marketing, Housekeeping, F&B and Laundry.

  14. Prepare progress reports for PM, PX and up-sell programs.

  15. Prepare monthly inventory for SDB and rebates.

  16. Responsible for the performance evaluation of the entire Front Office and Concierge staff every 6 months for probationary staff and once a year for regular staff.

  17. Ensure adequate supply of guest folios, envelopes, key packs, key cards, etc.

  18. Train and instil discipline on staff; handles staff Disciplinary Action Report; monitors grooming standards, reviews and evaluates staff performance.

  19. Shall handle periodic training in relation to the staff's career development or enhancement.

  20. Shall report any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Desk Manager, Asst. Front Office Manager or Rooms Division Manager.

  21. Shall oversee operational functions as designated by the Front Office Manager, Asst. Front Office Manager, Front Desk Manager or Rooms Division Manager.
