Job Description

As a Loan Processor, you are the engine behind seamless mortgage transactions. You will work closely with Loan Administrators to input crucial data, review financial documents, and ensure every application meets industry regulations. From serviceability calculations to liaising with clients, your precision and attention to detail will help fast-track approvals and keep customers moving towards their homeownership goals.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Proven experience in an office or administrative role.
• Demonstrated finance or banking data processing experience.
• Professional and pleasant spoken and written demeanor.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Strong customer-centric focus.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Detail-focused and highly organized.
• Ability to learn quickly and remain calm under pressure.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
• Ability to think on your feet and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Team player who is self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Highly Desirable

• Proven experience as a loan processor within the Australian mortgage broking industry.
• Experience with Connective and the Mercury Nexus CRM and Apply Online.

Your Daily Tasks

• Assist Loan Administrators with data entry and office tasks, including general customer service activities.
• Review income documentation, client information, and statements.
• Complete bank applications, perform serviceability calculations, and conduct property valuations within internal lender systems.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Manage applications through to settlement, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain and update the CRM within Nexus, including customer notes and opportunities.
• Complete annual client reviews as instructed.
• Contact clients via phone and email to maintain relationships, build rapport, and deliver necessary communications.
