About the role

AHD Advance Communication System, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Makati City Metro Manila on a contract basis.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of communication network equipment at project sites
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on network infrastructure to identify and address any issues
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities and ensure timely delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records of all site activities, including performance reports and project progress
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for system optimisation and upgrades
  • Manage site resources efficiently, including manpower, tools, equipment, and materials to meet project targets.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of fiber optic technology, including splicing, testing, and link activation procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of test and diagnostic equipment, as well as network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as required
  • Preferrably can drive 4 wheels and with valid driver's license
