About the role

As a Site Engineer at JRBUILDERS COMPANY INC.', you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of civil and structural engineering projects at our construction sites in Quezon City Metro Manila. This full-time position requires hands-on experience in managing site operations and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure developments.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, including monitoring progress, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Conduct regular site inspections, perform quality control checks, and maintain detailed records of project progress
  • Coordinate the procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and human resources to optimise site efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall project delivery
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and construction personnel on best practices and technical standards

What we're looking for

  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Must possess both Civil Engineer and Structural Engineer Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) licences
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant building codes and safety regulations
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively
  • Familiarity with construction project management software and tools
  • Proficiency in any major construction project management software platform is required
