The HR Staff for Compensation & Benefits / Timekeeper is responsible for ensuring accurate timekeeping, payroll support, and the proper administration of employee compensation and benefits. The position ensures compliance with company policies, government regulations, and established HR processes.
Timekeeping & Attendance Management
1. Monitor and validate daily employee attendance, logs, and schedule changes.
2. Process timekeeping data, including overtime, undertime, leaves, tardiness, and rest days.
3. Coordinate with supervisors and store heads to address attendance discrepancies
4. Ensure accurate and timely submission of timekeeping reports for payroll processing.
5. Maintain and update attendance records across all assigned locations.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
1. Assist in the preparation and computation of payroll-related data.
2. Maintain employee records related to compensation adjustments, allowances, and deductions.
3. Facilitate the enrollment, updating, and monitoring of government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
4. Support the processing of loans, sickness/maternity benefits, and other statutory claims.
5. Coordinate distribution of payslips, payroll reports, and benefit-related notices.
Employee Movements & Records
1. Maintain accurate and updated 201 files, particularly documents affecting compensation and attendance.
2. Process salary increases, regularization, promotions, and other employee movementEdwin Aldrinupdates in the HR database.
3. Prepare certificates and documents (COE, memos, forms) as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
Professional and Related Working Experiences:
At least 1 year experience in timekeeping, compensation, and benefits is preferred (fresh graduates may also be considered).
Skills and Certifications:
- Knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and government-mandated benefits.
- Proficient in MS Excel and HRIS or timekeeping systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
