About the role

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Meycauayan City, Bulacan on a contract basis. As a Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the production team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in manufacturing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
