Mechanical Supervisor

About the role

As a Mechanical Supervisor at SteelAsia Manufacturing Corporation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of the company's mechanical systems. This full-time position is based in Meycauayan City, Bulacan, and involves managing a team of skilled technicians to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing plant.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of mechanical technicians and engineers
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans to keep all mechanical equipment and systems in optimum working condition
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimise downtime
• Monitoring the performance of mechanical systems and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Providing technical guidance and support to the production team
• Maintaining accurate records and reports on the mechanical operations

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to quickly diagnose and address mechanical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team
• Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
