Job Overview:

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing goods, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the efficient operation of the store or warehouse. This role involves accurate record-keeping, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels using inventory management systems.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
  • Issue materials and products to departments or customers based on requests or orders.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and secure at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for restocking and shipments.
  • Label, tag, and arrange inventory items appropriately.
  • Follow safety and security protocols while handling goods.
  • Maintain documentation for inbound and outbound inventory movements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a store keeper or in warehouse operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Basic knowledge of safety and warehouse procedures.
- High school diploma or higher; a degree in business or hospitality is a plus.
