Storage Keeper

Job Summary:

The Storage Keeper is responsible for managing and organizing the storage area, ensuring that all materials, tools, and equipment are stored properly and inventory records are accurately maintained. This role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the storage area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies.
• Label, tag, and store materials in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software.
• Issue materials based on requests or approved requisitions.
• Perform regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for different types of items (e.g., temperature-sensitive, hazardous materials).
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments for timely supply and stock updates.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• College level in any Engineering course
• Previous experience in warehousing, inventory control, or a similar role preferred.
• Basic computer literacy; familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
