
Events and Sponsorship Lead

I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Event Production
• Lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of marketing events, scaling
from intimate roundtables to large conferences, including physical, virtual, and
hybrid formats.
• Oversee event facets such as registration, logistics, technical requirements,
program management, manpower allocation, and budget management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align event
strategies with business objectives.
• Address and document any issues, changes, or directions impacting the project,
ensuring effective resolution and communication.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and
financial accountability.
2. Sales Engagement
• Develop and integrate sales engagement strategies within event planning to
maximize lead generation and sales performance.
Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align event objectives with sales goals,
ensuring real-time feedback, and adaptive strategies to maximize sales performance
during events.
• Implement and oversee sales enablement initiatives during events to drive
engagement and results.
• Lead sales rallies and other sales-focused events to boost team morale and
performance.
• Analyze event metrics and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales
engagement efforts and optimize strategies.
3. Sponsorship Management
• Set strategic goals for sponsorship initiatives, aligning them with overall
marketing objectives.
• Identify and secure high-impact sponsorships through targeted research and
compelling proposals.
• Negotiate and manage sponsorship agreements, cultivating long-term
relationships that deliver sustained value for both parties.
• Monitor sponsorship performance using key metrics and feedback, and report
on ROI to demonstrate value and impact.
4. Vendor Management
• Act as the primary liaison for managing company relations with vendors for
marketing projects.
• Develop and maintain a robust network of vendors, constantly seeking
innovative partnerships to enhance event quality and drive cost-efficiency.
• Oversee vendor accreditation processes and coordinate with Procurement to
ensure compliance.
• Address and resolve vendor-related concerns efficiently, maintaining high
standards of quality and timeliness.
• Supervise the production of marketing materials and merchandise, including
event giveaways and corporate collateral.
• Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining budgetary oversight and
financial accountability.
5. Research and Innovation
• Drive innovative ideas to enhance event success and increase attendance.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the
event experience.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate cutting-edge tools and practices into
event management.
• Lead the adoption of innovative tools and practices into event management,
continually researching industry trends and new opportunities for event success
and efficiency.
6. Administrative
• Oversee the management of Event Management ticket requests, ensuring timely
and effective resolution.
• Ensure accurate and timely creation and presentation of weekly and monthly
reports to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and strategic
recommendations.
II. QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of
leading successful events (including physical, virtual, and hybrid formats)
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing event budgets and
demonstrating ROI
• Extensive experience in sales engagement and enablement strategies
• Superior project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes
projects independently
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and creative approach to
challenges
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a
demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across teams
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in measuring and optimizing the
effectiveness of sales engagement initiatives.
• Preferred but not required: experience or knowledge in technical aspects such as
lighting, sound, playback, and familiarity with event management software
