Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Location: Makati City

Work Setup: Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are urgently hiring a Chief Information Officer (CIO) for one of our top enterprise clients in the Philippines. The CIO will be responsible for leading the organization's overall technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires a visionary leader who can balance strategic planning, technical excellence, and business acumen to ensure IT systems and governance frameworks support company growth, innovation, and cybersecurity compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's IT strategy, governance policies, and digital transformation roadmap
  • Lead the implementation and management of enterprise technology systems and infrastructure
  • Oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, data management, and systems integration
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT governance standards
  • Manage relationships with vendors, external partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Drive innovation and efficiency across IT functions to improve business performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop IT teams to align with corporate goals and deliver operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Master's Degree or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of IT leadership experience covering IT strategy, governance, and transformation
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects, preferably within fintech or regulated industries
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, compliance, and vendor management
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, with experience presenting to C-level executives and cross-functional teams
