ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality systems and ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role plays a key part in identifying, investigating, and resolving quality issues, conducting audits, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The Quality Assurance Associate monitors operational processes, supports training and documentation efforts, and works closely with cross-functional teams to safeguard product and service quality throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

Its functions are the following; however, they are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate or participate in investigations of complaints, risks, and failures; approve and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support and participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) through implementation, maintenance, and training.
  • Develop and enforce procedures to inspect, report, and resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor operational processes to ensure alignment with quality standards.
  • Supervise and support inspectors, technicians, and quality staff.
  • Verify consistency and reliability in services by reviewing processes and final outputs.
  • Assess and ensure fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive proactive improvements.
  • Review and update quality standards, procedures, and policies as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of quality reports, audits, and related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with external quality assurance officers during inspections.
  • Safeguard products against risks from poor distribution practices.
  • Monitor and ensure licensing requirements are met and maintained.
  • Prevent operational practices from compromising product quality.
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and training records are maintained.
  • Approve suppliers, subcontractors, and customers as per compliance standards.
  • Ensure self-inspections are performed according to procedures.
  • Manage authorized activities with attention to record accuracy and quality.
  • Assist with product recalls and coordinate with customers as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable local and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and application of industry best practices.
  • Attend training and development programs relevant to the role.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in shipping operations, with a focus on expedited shipping and coordination with couriers, drivers, and logistics partners.
  • Working knowledge of temperature and humidity monitoring devices, security systems, and dock operations to support quick issue resolution and accurate documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
