Position Overview

The Quality Associate ensures that all internal and external requirements are met, guaranteeing that Lean Solutions Group's operations and services consistently meet customer expectations. This role is responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs, identifying non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of quality.

An ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and highly skilled in quality control. The Quality Associate plays a critical role in safeguarding service reliability and contributing to the long-term success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead or participate in investigations of complaints, risks, or failures, approving corrective/preventive actions and evaluating effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Implement, maintain, and promote compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Develop and oversee procedures to inspect, monitor, and report quality issues.
  • Supervise and support inspectors, technicians, and other staff to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify processes and final outputs to ensure reliability and consistency of services.
  • Assess and confirm that customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Collect, analyze, and present quality data to drive proactive solutions.
  • Review, update, and ensure adherence to current standards and policies.
  • Maintain accurate quality reports, records, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external quality assurance officers during inspections.
  • Safeguard products against risks from poor distribution practices.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with licensing provisions.
  • Ensure training completion and proper recordkeeping of employee development.
  • Oversee approval of suppliers, customers, and subcontracted activities that may impact operations.
  • Conduct self-inspections in line with company procedures.
  • Manage authorized activities with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and record quality.
  • Support customer-related recall activities when required.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable local regulations.
  • Provide input on and implement best practices to enhance quality operations.
  • Participate in relevant training courses as required.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in shipping operations, with emphasis on expedited shipping and working with couriers and drivers.
  • Practical knowledge of temperature/humidity monitoring, security systems, and dock operations to support accurate documentation and quick issue resolution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
