Job Summary:

The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role also manages the logistics function, including inventory control, warehouse management, and transportation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. The position requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sets performance goals, strategies, and KPIs aligned with management direction. Spearheads the implementation.
  • Oversees plant and logistics operations to meet targets and quality standards.
  • Manages risks, bottlenecks, disruptions.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implements company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops a cohesive and productive team in operations.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any related course. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least five (5) years of experience as a manager in Production, Production Planning and Inventory Control from the same industry (cosmetics / drugs)
  • Background in cosmetics/personal care industry is required.
  • Well versed on the technical aspect of manufacturing.
  • Can effectively liaise with Quality Control and Research and Development.
  • Experienced in Finished Goods and Delivery and Warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, lean manufacturing, and supply chain best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month
