Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to manage and coordinate the efficient movement of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company and customer requirements.

This role is a temporary position for nine (9) months, with the possibility of absorption as a regular employee depending on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø  Requests quotes and negotiating pricing with forwarders/brokers

Ø  Encoding and Updating of Incoming Deliveries

Ø  Process internal movement of goods

Ø  Outgoing products and invoicing based on customers delivery schedule

Ø  Coordination with warehouses on the pull-ins and pull-outs of stocks

Ø  Coordination with Operations Dept, Forwarders/Brokers and foreign counterparts on console or direct shipment schedules.

Ø  Compilation of Logistics documents.

Ø  Maintains filing of shipping documents for consolidation for yearly renewal of licenses and permits

Ø  Knowledge of Import/Export, PEZA and Freight processing is necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably in Customs or Business Administration courses or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Candidate with at least six (6) months experience in the same field will be an advantage.
  • Must possess good communication skills in English and can relate with foreign and local counterparts.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, transportation networks, and distribution processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and anticipate potential issues
  • Adaptable, Work-oriented, and resourceful person, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Open to multi-tasking and can work under pressure
