YOUR DAILY TASKS

  • Communicate with customers regarding incident progress, changes, and scheduled outages.
  • Provide IT support for Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
  • Deliver basic technical support at the network level (WAN, LAN, routers, firewalls, security).
  • Implement and support basic remote access solutions (VPN, Terminal Services).
  • Monitor system alerts and notifications; and respond promptly through service tickets.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk Coordinator to route requests to the appropriate resource.
  • Escalate service requests requiring higher-level engineering support.
  • Utilize ticketing systems efficiently and follow established processes.
  • Accurately complete and submit timesheets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

What You'll Bring (Technical Experience)

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration (user/computer accounts, password resets, account unlocks, folder access, user groups).
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration (shared mailboxes, distribution lists, license management, message tracing).
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Citrix (user access and basic connectivity troubleshooting).
  • Experience with backup systems and storage technologies (Datto, Veeam, Symantec), including configuration, maintenance, and alerts monitoring.
  • Knowledge of email management, domain hosting (O365 or cloud providers), and MFA implementation.
  • Administration of on-prem Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals.
  • Previous experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems to manage and track IT support requests.
