YOUR ROLE

The role will be responsible for managing existing business relationships and driving the development of new opportunities within the Consumer & Retail Account sector.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Gaining new business lanes from existing assigned portfolio.
  • Respond to customer needs, enquiries and address their concerns.
  • Provide support in managing escalations related to sales and operational issues, including resolving critical concerns with the network and customer.
  • Maintaining, enhancing or updating existing Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Assist to carry out monthly, quarterly or annual business review for the assigned portfolio.
  • Data entry into CVIEW and DMP Platform.
  • Handle the entire process of the annual Request for Tender, including managing the inquiry stage, bid preparation, submission, negotiation, contract management, and implementation.
  • Monitor customer receivable and assist in payment follow up.
  • Support the Network
  • Perform additional sales related function as may be required by KAM from time to time.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree in business or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Experience

  • Experience working across the Air & Ocean and other products in the country.
  • Work with customers regularly and provide solutions to them.
  • Account management and handling.
  • 2-5 years of Logistics Account Management role.
  • Proven track record in closing deals and winning bids.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of local and international logistics industry.
  • Process-driven and always seeking for continuous improvement.
  • Mature judgement and decision-making.
  • Strong and entrepreneurial spirit in Air & Ocean
  • Deep expertise in developing integrated supply chain & logistics solutions relevant to Air & Ocean, domestic & international

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and develop relationships at local level in customer organizations.
  • Ability to develop highly collaborative and productive relationships internally.
  • Strong relationship with Customer Service Team and Air & Ocean Operations
