Position Summary:

The Senior Project Engineer leads the delivery of complex construction projects, ensuring execution within scope, budget, and schedule. This role oversees cross-functional teams, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and resolves high-level project challenges. Acting as a key liaison between stakeholders and leadership, the Senior Project Engineer also mentors junior staff and drives continuous improvement across project operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide strategic leadership and expert oversight for all phases of large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

· Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and coordinate closely with senior stakeholders, clients, architects, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

· Develop and approve comprehensive project execution plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.

· Direct overall budget planning, cost control strategies, and financial reporting to ensure optimal resource utilization and profitability.

· Oversee construction site operations to ensure adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and timelines.

· Conduct high-level reviews of technical designs, construction methodologies, and quality assurance programs.

· Ensure full compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and legal standards, including DPWH regulations and local construction laws.

· Approve critical project documentation such as variation orders, billing certifications, permits, and compliance reports.

· Mentor and supervise junior engineers, project managers, and technical staff, fostering professional development and team performance.

· Evaluate subcontractor capabilities, negotiate contract terms, and ensure accountability in performance and deliverables.

· Represent the company in executive-level meetings, public consultations, and project presentations to clients and stakeholders.

· Provide expert input during tendering, value engineering, and procurement phases.

· Lead post-construction evaluation, project close-out, and lessons-learned documentation.
