This role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will support payroll processing, ensure accurate reporting, and provide proactive customer service to our Australian clients. You will also build strong relationships with payroll partners, manage account communication, and uphold compliance with information security policies.

Your key focus areas will be

1. Payroll

• Support the Payroll Team with the preparation of payroll and payroll reports as indicated.
• Provide excellent and proactive customer service in all dealings with our ANZ staff.
• Perform ad-hoc payroll functions as indicated by the Payroll Team Leader Manila or Payroll Business Partner.

2. Account management:

• Build and develop relationships with Payroll Partners to ensure trust as an outsourced partner.
• Liaising with Payroll Partner's on the phone, via email and at times, in person.

3. Information Security & risk management:

• Awareness of, and comply with, all information security policies of the organisation relevant to your business role.
• Contribute to risk assessment where required.
• Take action to prevent an information security incident from occurring or escalating, where possible, and report any actual or potential security breaches.

Who you are

• 1-4 years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or data entry.
• Australian and/or New Zealand Payroll knowledge.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in payroll processing and reporting.
• Basic Excel skills to efficiently manage and analyse payroll data.
• Strong customer service mindset to build relationships with payroll partners and support Australian and New Zealand clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.
