Mechanical Strategy Engineer (WFH)

Job Description:

  • Develop reliability strategies (predictive & preventive maintenance plans).
  • Analyse failure data, performance trends, and lifecycle costs.
  • Advise management on replacement cycles, upgrades, or technology adoption.
  • Align engineering activities with production, safety, and cost-efficiency goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape overall asset management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or any related.
  • Experience working in the AU Mining/Oil/Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in failure mode analysis, root cause analysis, and lifecycle cost analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance strategies (predictive and preventive).
  • Understanding of equipment design principles, industrial safety, and production operations.
  • Familiarity with asset management standards and reliability tools/software.
  • Skilled in project management for maintenance programs and technology upgrades.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills to influence leadership decisions.
