Electrical Strategy Engineer (WFH)

Job Description:

  • Design and implement long-term electrical asset strategies (e.g., HV/LV systems, substations, switchgear).
  • Conduct failure mode analysis (FMEA), lifecycle assessments, and system audits.
  • Recommend automation, remote monitoring tools, or infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian electrical safety codes and standards (e.g., AS/NZS 3000).
  • Support power reliability, energy efficiency, and operational continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related.
  • Experience working in the AU Mining/Oil/Gas industry.
  • Experience in asset management, lifecycle planning, and FMEA.
  • Strong knowledge in HV/LV systems, substations, and switchgear.
  • Knowledge of automation, remote monitoring systems, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Knowledge of Australian electrical safety codes and standards (AS/NZS 3000).
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and reliability-centered maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in delivering technical recommendations to leadership and frontline teams.
