About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at BW SUPERBAKESHOP-ELJIN' in Tarlac City, Tarlac. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations and ensuring the efficient and effective management of our mechanical engineering department.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and direct the activities of the engineering team to ensure the successful completion of projects and the achievement of departmental goals
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical engineering solutions to support the company's operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering-related issues
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the department's performance
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure the department's efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team to support their professional development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar engineering management role, preferably within the manufacturing or food production industry
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, design, and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and the use of engineering software and tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
