About Us:

Job Overview:

As the Materials Engineer II , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the proper selection and quality control of materials. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a major infrastructure initiative while upholding the highest standards of material quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Selection:

Collaborate with project teams to determine the appropriate materials for Roads and Bridges construction based on project specifications.

Conduct thorough analyses to assess material properties and suitability.

Testing and Analysis:

Perform various tests and analyses on materials to determine their properties and performance.

Interpret test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Quality Control Management:

Implement and oversee quality control procedures for materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials on-site.

DPWH Accreditation:

Utilize DPWH accreditation to ensure alignment with government regulations and standards.

Maintain updated knowledge of DPWH guidelines and requirements.

Documentation:

Prepare detailed reports on material testing, specifications, and compliance.

Maintain accurate and organized records of material data and test results.

Training and Development:

Train personnel on quality control procedures and ensure that all team members are aware of and follow established protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • MEII DPWH accreditation is mandatory.
  • Proven experience as a Materials Engineer, preferably in Roads and Bridges construction.
  • Strong knowledge of material testing methods, specifications, and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
