Job description:

  1. Assists QA/QC Head with regards to the quality control functions of the projects.

  2. Responsible in the implementation of quality control system, supervision, direct monitoring, inspection, documentation for mechanical works on the construction of the projects.

  3. Responsible in inspection, checking on installation for mechanical works.

  4. Responsible for the inspection works of the subcontractor and in-house admin workers and ensuring the quality of works during the construction of the project.

  5. Coordinate with the site supervisors regarding the inspection of works and quality of works of the project within technical specifications and approved construction drawing.

  6. Coordinate to the client Engineer & Project Manager regarding the inspection of works at site.

  7. Attending weekly Quality Control meeting and Weekly progress construction meeting with the client engineers and project manager.

  8. Taking care QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-conformance notice, materials delivery record, Site Instruction and other QA/QC documents.

  9. Responsible for the closure of non-conformance notice.

  10. Performs other functions that may be delegated or assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer

  2. With at least 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (ME) earned from a Construction Industry.
