Job Description:

The HR Generalist will oversee and support day-to-day human resources operations within the logistics department. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, company policies, and smooth coordination between management and employees. The HR Generalist will handle recruitment, employee relations, timekeeping, training, and benefits administration, focusing on the unique needs of a logistics/warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing

  • Source, screen, and onboard logistics personnel (warehouse staff, drivers, helpers, supervisors).

  • Coordinate manpower planning with hub/warehouse managers.

  • Employee Relations & Labor Compliance

  • Address employee concerns and grievances in line with company policy.

  • Ensure compliance with DOLE and other regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate disciplinary actions and document incident reports.

  • HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and attendance monitoring (including overtime/shift schedules).

  • Administer government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company benefits.
  • Support payroll by validating timekeeping data from logistics sites.

  • Training & Development

  • Conduct orientations for new logistics hires.

  • Coordinate safety and compliance training (HSE, warehouse handling, driver training).

  • Performance Management

  • Monitor employee productivity and attendance trends.

  • Support warehouse/operations supervisors in performance evaluation.

  • HR Projects & Engagement

  • Organize employee engagement activities tailored to logistics staff.

  • Support health, safety, and welfare initiatives for logistics personnel.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing setup.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and HR compliance.
  • Experience in timekeeping and coordination with payroll (logistics shift-based environment is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to relate well with blue-collar workforce (drivers, warehousemen, helpers).
  • Proficient in MS Office / HRIS systems.
  • Can work in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics environment with flexibility for shifting schedules if needed.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
