Senior System Administrator

Duration : Contract

Location : BGC

Working Schedule: PH Day Shift

Job responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 Setup

Lead the migration of email, files, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace or legacy systems) to Microsoft 365.

Configure and optimize Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive environments.

Ensure minimal downtime and secure data transfer during migration.

Identity and Access Management

Manage and administer Azure Active Directory (user accounts, groups, roles, conditional access policies).

Implement and enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Security and Compliance

Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center policies (DLP, retention, auditing, eDiscovery).

Work with IT Security to implement threat protection, identity governance, and secure collaboration practices.

Administration and Support

Manage licenses, subscriptions, and service accounts.

Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and standard operating procedures.

Trainings

Work with business units to maximize adoption of Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.

Train end-users and IT staff on Microsoft 365 features and best practices.

Ensure integration with other business systems (CRM, ERP, HR platforms where applicable).

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in
a System Administration role
, with at least 2 years in a
senior or team lead capacity.

· Extensive hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS) and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

· Proven Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience, managing multiple client tenants simultaneously.

· Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra ID (Azure AD).

· Demonstrable experience leading large-scale migration projects (email, data, workloads).

· Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration and automation of Microsoft cloud services.

· In-depth understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls).

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders.
