About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our thriving finance team at Best Reliable Resources Internationale' in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow statements
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other general ledger accounts
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process
  • Provide support for internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a general accounting role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations
