About the role

As a General Accountant (CPA) with Wintex Logistics Corp.', you will play a key role in the company's accounting and financial operations. This full-time position is based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila and will involve overseeing the company's accounting functions, including financial reporting, analysis and compliance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  2. Oversee the maintenance of general ledger accounts and ensure the timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
  3. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial projections to support the company's strategic decision-making
  4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure the integrity of the company's financial records
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
  6. Provide financial and operational insights to help drive business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  7. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and implement necessary changes within the organisation

What we're looking for

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
  2. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards and regulations, particularly in the analysis and reporting domain
  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets and other financial reporting tools
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Proactive and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to continuous improvement
