JOB DESCRIPTIONS- Releasing Officer

The position holder shall undertake the following functions:

  1. Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statement and core values of the company.

  2. Releases (or co-signs with the branch head and issues, as may have been delegated to do such) gate pass for the withdrawal of new automotive unit on the basis of approval of superior officers and upon verification of payment of the buyer's participation and completeness of supporting documents for submission to the financing company;

  3. Prepares loan documents for financing transactions; checks figures related to rates, terms, fees and charges as appearing in the loan documents.

  4. Undertakes follow up of loan proceeds and dealer's incentive with different banks and financing institutions; informs the Credit and Collection Assistant when loan proceeds are ready for collection.

  5. Prepares reports and maintains files of documents related to financing transactions.

  6. Prepares commission reports for sales of automotive units, financing and insurance by the Sales Consultants; Assists in the preparation of management reports related to sales performance.

  7. Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS-Cashier

The position holder shall undertake the following functions:

  1. Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statement and core values of the company.

  2. Validates documents including quotations, billings, and invoices provided by parts and service departments in support of customer payments.

  3. Receives payments or processes credit card transaction on repair service charges and parts replacement costs.

  4. Prepares official receipt on a parallel application, both on the DMS and manually, to acknowledge payments received.

  5. Closes service invoice on DMS and undertakes manual completion of a parallel invoice.

  6. Prepares and issues gate pass to serve as basis for the release of the automotive units serviced upon the completion of payment process

  7. Acts as the interim custodian of all cash and check collections prior to turn-over to the corporate office.

  8. Prepares deposit slips sorted out into the specific depository accounts and forwards these together with the collections to the Finance and Insurance Unit for subsequent deposit.

  9. Prepares daily collection report and summary of releases.

  10. Submits sorted copies of official receipts, invoices and related pertinent documents to the Accounting Section.

  11. Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
