About the role

Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation is seeking a dedicated Materials Recovery Custodian to join our team in our Valenzuela City warehouse. This is a full-time role responsible for the effective management and handling of all recycled materials within our state-of-the-art facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Ensuring the proper collection, sorting, and storage of all recycled materials
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all recycled materials received and processed
  • Implementing and adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures to protect the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve recycling processes and increase the volume of materials recovered
  • Providing training and guidance to other warehouse personnel on best practices for materials recovery and handling

What we're looking for

  • College degree of any four (4) year course preferably Engineering/Business
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a materials recovery or warehousing role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management software and other relevant digital tools
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a willingness to continuously improve processes and procedures
