WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

A warehouse supervisor oversees all daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping, ensuring safety and efficiency. Key responsibilities include supervising and training staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing warehouse operations like equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and governmental regulations. They are also responsible for process improvement, coordinating with other departments, and managing staff performance. Core Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, from receiving goods to dispatching orders, to ensure smooth and efficient flow of products.
  • Staff Supervision & Training: Direct, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently, safely, and in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to ensure product availability and accessibility.
  • Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, security measures, and government regulations to create a safe working environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and workflows, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Coordination: Liaise with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to manage incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to motivate and guide a team are essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, allocate resources effectively, and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and experience with common warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is beneficial.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to anticipate problems, troubleshoot issues, and find practical solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision, often with a high school diploma or equivalent, and sometimes a degree in logistics or supply chain management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
