Accounting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Team management: Supervise, train, and guide the accounting team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Financial reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Daily operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable, (AR) and the general ledger.
- Government compliance: Ensure all accounting practices and remittances comply with Philippine laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Process improvement: Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain efficient financial processes.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Financial analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess the impact of company initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
· Graduate of a 4-year accounting course is required for this role
· Must possess 3 years of relevant supervisory accounting experience or background is required
· Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG, Retail, or warehouse operations is required
· Technical Skills: (Good to have) proficiency in various accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or Quickbooks is a plus but not required
· Must possess proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g., excel power point and others
· Proficiency in inventory management software and general computer applications
· The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ability to work effectively with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and external partners, and internal stakeholder
· Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, anticipate logistical challenges, and develop effective solutions
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders and or clients
· Strong leadership and team management skills and abilities
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex schedules and time-sensitive logistics shipments
