JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for planning, promoting, and ensuring the smooth running of events. He or she receives events to participate. She or he will be working closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement plans and strategies for our brands. Supports the marketing development by carrying out the daily tasks that keep the department functioning and facilitate the duties of department and branch. He/she is also responsible for developing and maintaining strategies and action plans to meet organizational objectives set forth by the management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help organize the events, exhibitions, and seminars, making bookings and overseeing the guest list.
  • Assist with the production of marketing collaterals.
  • Responsible in processing payments and liquidation to suppliers and of employees
  • Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns.

  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as web content, brochures, and press releases.
  • Develop strategies to improve on existing and past marketing efforts.
  • Responsible in content creation, social media posting, and planning.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for external designers, printers, and suppliers.
  • Visit clients and attend trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Provides sales support (e.g., preparation of samples, collaterals, sales kits, sales videos, slideshows, presentation materials)
  • Help design and place advertisements.
  • Liaise with graphic and website designers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Attainment and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Budget Management and negotiation skills
  • Leads gathering, leads monitoring, and software proficiency (e.g., Smartsheet)
  • Experience in event marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Micro-content management experience
  • Proficiency in social media and digital marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Leads gathering and monitoring
  • Strong marketing skills including branding, digital marketing, and advertising
  • Creativity for developing unique event concepts and marketing materials.
