About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Compiler / Data Entry Specialist with experience in customs brokerage for Australia and New Zealand based firms. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customs data entry, documentation handling, and CargoWise proficiency.

This is a work-from-home role, requiring accuracy, efficiency, and knowledge of AU & NZ customs processes to ensure compliant and timely declarations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and validate shipment and customs data into CargoWise with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and process import/export customs documentation in compliance with AU, NZ or international regulations.
  • Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for correctness.
  • Monitor declaration submissions and ensure timely lodgement with customs authorities.
  • Communicate with internal teams and brokers to clarify missing or incorrect data.
  • Maintain accurate records of entries and compliance documents.
  • Stay updated with Australian and New Zealand customs brokerage requirements and changes.
  • Support smooth operations by identifying and reporting potential compliance risks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customs data entry, compiling, or brokerage (preferably for Australia and New Zealand based firms).
  • Proficiency in CargoWise is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of AU & NZ import/export regulations and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
