Senior Interior Designer

• Proposals

• Assists the VP-Finance & Admin in preparing budget proposals ensuring completeness and accurate project allocation based on standard prices.

• Schematic Design Phase

• Prepares the design and research for the schematic phase with the guidance of the Director.

• Prepares design presentation using 3D software, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Coordinates and compiles all the necessary information from Consultants, Project Managers, Contractor, and Owner.
• Coordinates the Schematic Design Stage with the Overall Senior Designer.

• Delegates tasks and provides instructions to the Junior Designer and Design Coordinator in coordination with the Senior Designer 4.

• Design Development Phase

• Delegates' preparation of material/swatch board.

• Oversees the production of technical drawings of assigned projects, using CAD and manual illustrations up to the design development stage.
• Conducts material sourcing, research, and coordinates with suppliers/manufacturers and other necessary trades.
• Facilitates coordination and compilation of technical documents, as acquired or transmitted through coordination.
• Coordinates with suppliers, contractors, and other project-related trades only as instructed by the Senior Designer/Project Manager.
• Prepares and reviews budgetary and cost estimates in coordination with the M Concept Manager, Admin Director, Contracts, and suppliers.
• Delegates' preparation of material/swatch board.
• Prepares and counter-checks technical drawings and material specs.
• Conducts material sourcing, research, and coordination with suppliers/manufacturers and other necessary trades.
• Organizes and compiles technical documents as acquired or transmitted through coordination.
• Prepares scheduled reports on design development phases as required by the Senior Designer, Senior Design Manager, Director, and M Concept Admin.
• Form project and construction schedule/s depending on the provided target dates set by the Client.

• Monitors the timeliness and quality of designs produced by the Designer.

• Bidding Phase

• Delegates and counters check items for quotation to Junior Designers.

• Prepares detailed budget allocation of all items needed for the budget.
• Prepares and sends items for quotations to suppliers and contractors.
• Reviews quotations sent by contractors and suppliers.

• Assists in awarding winning bidders.

• Construction Phase

• Conducts site visit and inspection

• Coordinates and give instructions to contractor.
• Ensures compliance with the design as well as monitoring of quality.
• Assists in purchasing of some items for fit out.
• Coordinates deliveries of items that will be on-site for the contractors' mobilization.
• Styles and accessorizes the project.
• Prepares turnover of documents.
• Organizes project documentation and archives.
• Taps designers who has potential and grooms them in preparation for higher position

Minimum Qualifications: Educational Background

: College graduate, preferably in Interior Design ( Licensed would be an advantage)

Work Experience

: At least 3 -4 years experience in Design and Build Projects

TrainingSkills: Project management Skills, Leaderhip Skills, Time Management and monitoring Designing, manual drafting & renditioning

Knowledge : Budgeting, costing,Basic design software skills like AutoCAD, Photoshop, and sketch-up and basic Microsoft office skills. Also manual drafting and rendering.

Personal Qualities/Traits: Good leadership, good in motivating staffs, good time management, works well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
