Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making.
  • Manage and optimize workflows in QuickBooks (QBO), Xero, and Excel.
  • Interpret and implement technical accounting standards such as ASC 842 and other FASB pronouncements.
  • Partner with leadership to develop adaptable systems and processes as business requirements evolve.
  • Lead or support in audits, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • Years of successful experience in high-level Controller or CFO roles.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and current accounting standards.
  • Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel.
  • Proven adaptability, comfortable working in changing, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and curious by nature.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S.-based companies (remote or on-site).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based reporting and automation tools.
  • Must be amenable to work at night
  • Must be comfortable working with time trackers
  • Must have own working equipment (computer: atleast i5 and 8GB Ram, web camera, and noise cancelling headset)
