About the role

Alto Audio Design Center is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Iloilo City, Iloilo. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance feedback
  2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support the company's financial planning
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  6. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance financial controls
  7. Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the business services or corporate advisory industry
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  6. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
