We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (Trade) Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing trade payables, handling vendor transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. This role is open to graduates of Accountancy (CPA certification is a plus), Accounting Technology or other business courses with relevant experience in accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage trade payables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness of payment and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of vendor invoices and payments.
- Prepare accurate computation and recording of rebates.
- Maintain accurate & proper documentation and approval processes for all payable transactions.
- Handle vendor & internal department inquiries regarding payment and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and review AP aging reports to track outstanding balances, and other AP related reports for the purpose of cleaning up the books.
- 2307 Issuance to suppliers/vendors.
- Perform other AP Trade-related accounting tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (CPA is a plus), Accounting Technology or other business courses with relevant experience in accounting.
- Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable and vendor management, reconciliation & accounting (minimum of 3 years in a similar role).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data management, analysis, and reporting (e.g., AP Related Reports, Vendor reconciliation & etc.).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational and communication abilities.
