Job Title: Accounting Staff

Department: Finance / Accounting


Job Summary:

The Accounting Staff is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain and update general ledgers, journals, and subsidiary records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, disbursements, and payroll transactions.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collection and settlement.
  • Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other financial accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support external and internal audit requirements by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, government reporting requirements, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and government regulations.
  • Experience with BIR filings and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
