Role Summary:
The Global Account Executive is a strategic sales role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Avvanz's existing accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This "Farmer" role requires a unique blend of sales, business acumen, and relationship-building skills that will aid in Drilling Deeper into the Accounts.
Job Scope / Principal Accountabilities:
Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue, expand product adoption, and increase customer satisfaction. These are Accounts that have crossed 12 to 15 months of revenues and now are ready for Upselling: i) Sell new products ii) Sell to their other countries/affiliates/subsidiaries etc.
Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within global accounts. Should be able to build a Miller-Heiman matrix of relationships.
Sales Growth: Identify new sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Solution Selling: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver tailored solutions that meet customers' business needs.
Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor intelligence to inform account strategies.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams, to ensure alignment and effective support.
Forecasting and Reporting: Accurately forecast sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular progress reports.
Collaborate with Marketing incl Telemarketing to get Leads details, Targeted Marketing etc
Ensure related compliance requirements are addressed, e.g., privacy, security, and administrative regulations associated with Information and privacy management systems, are followed in Singapore HQ and the Philippines site.
- Be vigilant to report possible security and privacy incidents as required through the ISO core team and department heads or email and , and ensure appropriate risk mitigation and control processes are taken to avoid further risks.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies required:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, preferably in a global or enterprise software sales environment.
- Having prior training in Miller-Heiman's Blue Sheet is desirable.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop strategic solutions.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM software like Zoho
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Results-driven, with a strong focus on sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborative team player with a global mindset.
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
