JOB SUMMARY

Provides quality nursing care to all patients

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide exceptional patient care and customer service;

· Prepares all consultation rooms;

o checks for the completeness of supplies needed by the doctors

o ensures the cleanliness and orderliness of the consultation areas

· Accomplishes daily checklist of equipment/reports defective equipment/instrument to Admin. Assistant for immediate repair;

· Ensures that all clinic supplies/forms needed for the day are complete;

· Makes sure that endorsement log book is read every day to keep you update of the clinic procedures/situations;

· Receives patients, checks charts if all data are completely filled up;

· Assesses patient's condition, including vital signs, and chief complaints;

· Prioritizes patient's needs;

· Directs patients and assists doctors during examination/procedure as needed;

· Carries out doctor's orders;

· Utilizes computerized clinic system to process queue patients properly to the doctors and appropriate service areas;

· Gives instructions regarding preparation for the approved procedures/laboratory examinations;

· Performs other diagnostic procedures (ECG, TMST, Spirometry, Holter Monitoring, Audiometry);

· Performs other task that maybe pertinent to the completion of the procedure

o Patients scheduled for operation:

o Receives patient and prepares needed charge slip or HMO with approval code.

o Takes the patient's vital signs.

· Accompanies patient to operating room/and endorses to OR nurse

· Monitors clinic supplies;

· Ensure all QA requirements are being met;

· Submits reports as required by the management;

· Maintains strictest confidentiality;

· Participates in a monthly staff development program;

· Performs other related tasks assigned by the management.
