As a Customer Service - Refunds Specialist, you will have to:
Communicate with the customers via phone and email, ensuring accurate collection of required details, and preparing refund payment processing files for submission to the Finance team.
- Refund Processing
- Process refunds following the provided procedure.
- Prepare refund payment processing files for Finance submission.
- Customer Communication
- Contact customers via phone and email to gather necessary information for refunds.
- Email and Documentation Management
- Manage three dedicated email mailboxes for refund requests from each Business Unit.
- Obtain necessary approvals from HDB/Landlords where required.
- Coordination with Finance Team
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of refund payment processing files for Finance to upload.
Non-negotiables
- 1 to 3 years of customer service experience (preferably in finance or refund processing).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to manage multiple email accounts and document approvals efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in using email and financial processing tools.
- Expected to process approximately 160 refunds per month. Must be able to liaise with customers and stakeholders professionally.
- Clear and articulate verbal and written English communication skills.
- Very good level of computer literacy
- Showcasing or is possessing a positive attitude
