About the role

Transpacific International Consolidator Inc. is seeking an experienced Export or Import Customer Service/Sales professional to join our dynamic team in Paranaque City Metro Manila. This full-time position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our international clients, ensuring seamless import and export operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, order processing, and order tracking
  2. Providing timely and accurate information to clients regarding shipment status, customs clearance, and delivery timelines
  3. Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to grow our client base and expand our import and export services
  4. Collaborating with the logistics team to coordinate and manage the movement of goods across international borders
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  6. Resolving customer issues and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
  7. Providing sales support, including preparing quotations and proposals
  8. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an export or import customer service or sales role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  5. Familiarity with import and export documentation, customs clearance processes, and international shipping regulations
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  7. Fluency in English and the local language, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
