JOB SUMMARY:

The role implements and maintains a company's labor relations programs, policies, and procedures, and maintains current knowledge of employee and labor relations trends, legal decisions, and statutory changes

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations.
  • Ensure classification of goods under the appropriate tariff codes (HS codes).
  • Review shipping documents for accuracy (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
  • Communicate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
  • Monitor shipment status and follow up on any customs holds, inspections, or delays.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current customs laws and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with trade agreements and duty relief programs.
  • Keep organized records of all customs documentation and transactions.
  • Identify and resolve customs compliance issues as they arise.
  • Assist with internal audits and reporting related to customs activity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Psychology or any behavioral science course

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Customs Administration, Logistics or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Board passer in Customs Administration is an advantage but not required.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, and Incoterms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with trade documentation and import/export processes is an advantage.
