Job Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility involves designing and developing Tableau dashboards and self-service views, applying UX and performance best practices to deliver clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Develop Tableau Pulse metrics—define metric catalog, naming & descriptions, owners, and targets; create metrics from published sources, and optimize digests & subscriptions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements—co-create wireframes, define acceptance criteria, prioritize a backlog, and iterate through UAT; present insights and recommendations.
  • Support SQL-based ETL/ELT development on demand to assist with data extraction, cleaning, and transformation as needed.
  • Document and communicate report specs, layouts, data dictionaries, and lineage; enforce PGI Analytics standards, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related courses
  • Stakeholder communication: translate business requirements and present insights clearly
  • Advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions) and strong dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)
  • Knowledge in Tableau Desktop & Cloud: performance tuning, calculations/actions; Tableau Pulse is a plus
  • ETL/ELT development with Pentaho/AWS Coding with Python is a plus
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
