Typical Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Tracking and Monitoring:Utilizing Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) to monitor the location, speed, and route of vehicles in real-time.
  • RTOI Compliance:Ensuring compliance with Road Transport Operating Invariants (RTOI) and alerting relevant parties of any violations.
  • Geofencing and Route Optimization:Creating geofences around points of interest and optimizing routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
  • Driver Behavior Analysis:Analyzing driver behavior data from dashcams and other sources to identify areas for improvement and recommend training.
  • Dispatch Coordination:Coordinating with dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely and efficient loading and delivery of goods.
  • Reporting and Documentation:Generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports on transport statistics, performance, and any violations.
  • Equipment Management:Overseeing the maintenance and functionality of VTS units and other monitoring equipment.
  • Coordination with Stakeholders:Collaborating with various teams, including drivers, dispatchers, and maintenance personnel, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Safety and Security:Monitoring for potential safety hazards and ensuring the security of cargo and vehicles.
  • Incident Management:Responding to and resolving any incidents or emergencies that may arise during transport.
  • Route Planning:Planning routes based on road and traffic conditions.
  • Payment Management:Managing payments related to transportation services.
