Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and organized individual to fill the combined role of Time Keeper and Bodeguero for our construction team. The Time Keeper will manage and track the working hours of construction personnel, while the Bodeguero will oversee the storage, issuance, and inventory management of materials and tools on-site. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Time Keeping:
- Accurately record and track the working hours of all construction workers, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Maintain daily attendance logs, including shifts, overtime, breaks, and absences.
- Verify and cross-check time cards and timekeeping records, ensuring accuracy before submission to payroll.
- Coordinate with the HR or payroll department to submit reports for payroll processing in a timely manner.
- Address and resolve any timekeeping discrepancies, such as missed punches or incorrect hours, by communicating directly with workers and supervisors.
- Provide daily or weekly time reports to project managers and ensure that any changes or adjustments are communicated promptly.
2. Bodeguero (Materials and Tool Management):
- Oversee the storage and organization of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site warehouse or storage area.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of all materials and tools, ensuring that records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Issue materials and tools to construction workers as requested, ensuring that usage is properly documented.
- Track the movement of materials and tools in and out of the storage area, ensuring proper returns and minimizing loss or theft.
- Regularly conduct stock checks and report inventory levels to supervisors to avoid material shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials and tools to the construction site.
- Ensure that materials and tools are safely stored and organized, following best practices to prevent damage, deterioration, or waste.
3. General Site Support:
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the storage and work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for the team.
- Help ensure compliance with safety standards regarding materials and equipment storage, including correct labeling, handling, and safety procedures.
- Communicate with the construction team regarding material needs, stock levels, and any shortages that could affect project progress.
- Assist project managers and supervisors with other administrative tasks as required, such as reporting material usage, and assisting with logistics or delivery coordination.
