Desktop Support Engineer
Job Requirements
• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and update software and hardware for end-users.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, etc.).
• Assist users with account management and access-related concerns.
• Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for escalations and complex issue resolutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in as Support Engineer or similar technical role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Has some IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar) is a plus but not required.
