About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Officer to join our growing Smartway Travel and Tour Services team in our Cebu City office. As a Sales and Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our diverse range of travel and tour packages to both individual and corporate clients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the continued success of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and executing targeted sales and marketing strategies to promote our travel and tour offerings
  • Generating new leads and nurturing relationships with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Providing exceptional customer service to existing clients, ensuring a positive experience and encouraging repeat business
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials, such as brochures, social media content, and website updates
  • Attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events to showcase our services and build brand awareness
  • Tracking and analysing sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Providing regular reports on sales activities and results to the management team

What we're looking for

  • at least 2-3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within the travel and tourism industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in using various digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media, email marketing, and search engine optimisation
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • A passion for the travel industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
