Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and recovery of AOG aircraft in close collaboration with MCC Duty Managers, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational disruption.
• Oversee the end-to-end management of deferred defects—including MEL, CFI, CDL, and ADD—by leveraging digital tools (e.g., Skywise platform) and predictive analytics to drive regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and technical dispatch reliability.

Control of Short-Term Maintenance

• Ensure timely acquittal of all deferred defects in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal KPIs, validating accuracy and completeness of data entered in AMOS.
• Coordinate with Technical Services and PPE to confirm appropriate repair schematics, especially for cases outside SRM or AMM guidance.
• Work closely with FMM, Stores, and Technical Purchasing to secure necessary tools and parts, prioritize urgent needs, and ensure timely defect rectification.
• Analyze deferred defect trends and provide actionable recommendations to Technical Services to support reduction of ADD/MEL occurrences to acceptable levels.
• Maintain strong communication with Maintenance Providers and relevant CEB departments to drive timely AOG recovery and keep stakeholders informed of program updates.

Skywise Subject Matter Expertise

• Serve as the Skywise focal point within MCC, providing expertise in predictive maintenance, data analytics, and digital maintenance solutions, while driving integration with AMOS and other operational systems.
• Develop and maintain Skywise dashboards, reports, and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making and proactive defect management based on real-time aircraft health monitoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to translate insights into actionable plans, while mentoring engineers and analysts in effective Skywise utilization and data-informed maintenance practices.

Program and Performance Management

• Define and track performance metrics for deferred defects and Skywise utilization, ensuring continuous monitoring, analysis, and improvement across maintenance operations.
• Assess service providers' compliance with CEB standards and contractual obligations, driving accountability and operational excellence.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to management highlighting defect trends, predictive maintenance outcomes, and the impact of Skywise-driven insights.

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Must be a licensed Engineer (PRC) or a certified Aircraft Mechanic (CAAP)
• Must have completed technical training on large commercial aircraft systems
• Must have undergone relevant regulatory and safety training
• Must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in aircraft maintenance engineering
• Preferably experienced in using data analytics platforms, with a strong preference for Skywise
• Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines
